1. How can investors of Canara Robeco Mutual Funds redeem their invested units?
Withdrawing or redemption is very simple. It can be done either offline by filling out a redemption request form or through our SmartInvest portal by logging in. The amount or the units to be redeemed have to be mentioned and in the physical form, the relevant account holders have to sign the form and submit to the nearest branch of Canara Robeco.
2. What are cut-off timings?
Cut-off timing is the time before which an investor has to submit a valid purchase or withdrawal/redemption form to be eligible for a particular day’s NAV.
3. What are the various cut-off timings?
The cut-off timings for purchase are:
◾ For liquid and overnight funds – 12.30 PM
◾ For other than liquid and overnight funds – 01.00 PM
The cut-off timings for redemption are:
◾ For liquid and overnight funds – 01.00 PM
◾ For other than liquid and overnight funds – 01.00 PM
4. What are the steps involved in redeeming funds through the SmartInvest portal?
An investor will first have to login to the SmartInvest portal using his/her credentials. In the home page, under the ‘Transact Here’ tab, the option of ‘Redeem’ has to be selected.
After selecting the option, the page will direct to details of all the folio numbers of the investor and the names of the first holders of the respective folios. The investor will have to select the folio no from which he/she wants to redeem units.
After selecting the relevant folio no, the scheme from which the investor wishes to redeem has to be selected from the drop-down list.
After selecting the scheme, the amount to be redeemed has to be mentioned.
After doing so, the confirmation page is displayed as shown below with bank account details and the amount redeemed.
5. When will the redemption proceeds be received by the investor?
In case of liquid and overnight funds, the redemption proceeds are received by the next business day. In case of debt funds, the proceeds take 2 business days and in case of equity funds, it takes 3 business days to be credited to the investor’s account.
